Public involvement in multiple long term conditions research – what do we need to think about?

14 million people in the UK live with Multiple Long Term Conditions (MLTCs). It is crucial that we understand their prevalence, impact on quality of life, and how to support patients and their families. The NHS and Social Care system (and Health and care research) wasn't designed to deal with MLTCs, which makes undertaking MLTC research very complicated.
